Art viewing this Sunday - July 10th!

New artists featured this month at Hines!

On Sunday, July 10 from 12pm - 5pm, there will be an exhibition the Hines Gallery. Main artist displayed this month is Jane Sklar.

Biography:
Jane Sklar is an Ivy League-educated artist photographer, videographer, and jewelry designer. Born and raised in New York City, she currently resides in Fort Lee, NJ. Together with her teacher and mentor, Max Cartagena, Jane has perfected a unique style of transforming her original photographs into dazzling digital creations, utilizing a handful of both photo-editing and graphics programs without the use of Photoshop. She massages, splices, layers and manipulates the playful pixels; the results are a journey of color, fantasy, and whimsy for the senses. The business, a mere concept in 2009 was launched April 2011.

Merchandise:
Jane’s art and photographic imagery is available on clothing, giftware, stationery and other products in the online store, www.cafepress.com/sklarcartagena. The merchandise quality is excellent and captures high-resolution images of artwork on all products. Please contact Jane if you would like to customize a specific image on a different product from what is currently shown.

Jane is the official photographer and videographer of the band Busy Wigs, and her artwork and photography is on their “Deluxation!” CD, T-shirts, and other merchandise available in the online store www.cafepress.com/busywigs.

Daniel Galas raffle winner

Daniel Galas recently held a raffle for one of his Union Square woodcut prints. The winner was Alan Hammond of Roseville, CA. Alan is an art consultant. Check out his website here.
